DAY 1: SYDNEY TO COFFS HARBOUR
Meet your Contiki crew, enjoy a brief city sightseeing tour before crossing the Harbour Bridge and travelling along the scenic ‘holiday coast’ to Coffs Harbour. Resort.

DAY 2: COFFS HARBOUR TO SURFERS PARADISE (B)
To Byron Bay with plenty of time to relish this arty town. Then in to Queensland, the Sunshine State, to see Australian wildlife at Currumbin before continuing along the Gold Coast, Australia’s most popular holiday area, to Surfers Paradise. Hotel.

DAY 3: SURFERS PARADISE
A full day free to enjoy the famous beaches, try a mix of adventures and revel in the nightlife! Hotel.

DAY 4: SURFERS PARADISE TO FARMSTAY (B, D)
In to the modern city of Brisbane this morning for some free time. After lunch we head along the fertile farming lands of the Darling Downs to the edge of Queensland’s Outback and a unique Aussie experience at our ‘Farmstay’. Farmstay.

DAY 5: FARMSTAY TO FRASER ISLAND. (B, D)
After a hearty breakfast we travel to the Sunshine Coast to visit Noosa with free time for a swim and shopping before continuing onto one of nature’s greatest wonders, Fraser Island. Eco Lodge.

DAY 6: FRASER ISLAND.
A full day free to explore the world’s largest sand island known for its unusual fresh water lakes, the tropical rainforest and beautiful beaches. Eco Lodge.

DAY 7: FRASER ISLAND TO CAPRICORN COAST (B)
Return to the mainland and travel along the Capricorn Coast into the heart of Australia’s beef industry to the garden city of Rockhampton, the gateway to the Tropics. Hotel.

DAY 8: CAPRICORN COAST TO THE WHITSUNDAYS (B, D)
Travel through the sugar cane fields via Mackay to Airlie Beach, gateway to the Whitsunday
Islands. Head across to beautiful Long Island for the next 2 nights. Maybe take 'Sailing the Whitsundays' tour option. Resort.

DAYS 9 & 10: WHITSUNDAYSTwo days at leisure on this tropical paradise island. Relax on the beach, enjoy the water sports, maybe a game of tennis and beach volleyball, or explore on a hike, there’s plenty to do at the resort. Resort.

DAY 11: THE WHITSUNDAYS TO CAIRNS (B)
Today, head north to Townsville and the region renowned for its gold rush, fishing and sugar. Then it’s via Tully, the wettest place in Australia, to the cosmopolitan city of Cairns. Resort.

DAY 12-13: CAIRNS (B)
Two full days at leisure – maybe try white-water rafting, visit the Great Barrier Reef and savour Cairns nightlife! Resort.

DAY 14: CAIRNS
This morning we visit Tjapukai and Kuranda to appreciate the beauty of the Atherton Tablelands. Later say a final farewell as your tour ends upon our return to Cairns.
